Discover Treetops Lodge & Estates, a privately owned 2,500-acre nature reserve, with 70 km (35 miles) of exclusive walking trails through ancient forest, waterfalls, lakes, and trout streams. Among the most rewarding Rotorua hiking experiences, guests can take a self-guided tour via a downloadable app, following hiking tracks by fitness level or interest and identifying flora, fauna, and wildlife. Hiking trails can also be booked privately, with gourmet picnic backpacks available.
