Treetops' Wild Food COOKING SCHOOL

'Wild side cooking and dining put you in touch with natural flavours and ancient techniques in primeval wilderness'

Here is a totally new experience for those who like to cook and eat on the Wild Side ...  the Wild Food Cooking School.

Join us at Treetops for a half day Wild Food Cooking Experience - an unforgettable cultural and culinary experience in the heart of the Treetops Estate.

Set off on a 4WD trip into deepest part of our 2500 acre eco forest; discover magnificent wildlife including wild deer, pigs and plenty of game birds, and unspoiled streams teeming with trout and eels. Take a one hour stroll through the bush to collect indigenous herbs and spices to use in the cooking class back in the Treetops kitchen.

Watch our talented chefs combine your ingredients from the forest to create an outstanding array of unique and sumptuous dishes. Learn how to recreate the hangi or Maori pit-oven at home.
