The whine of turbines breaks the quiet as your helicopter arrives at the Treetops helipad. Flying out over the expanse of the estate, you will get a unique perspective of its true majesty. Once airborne, you will head East and out over the sea to arrive at White Island, New Zealand's only permanently active marine volcano.
Stepping out of the helicopter in hard hats, the adventure unfolds. You are walking on an active volcano. You will be guided on an exploration of active vents, hot streams and the ruins of an abandoned sulfur mine before reaching the active crater lake.
