The Pheasant House at Treetops Lodge & Estate is hidden in the hills behind Rotorua and is just a 25 minute drive from town - located in the heart of New Zealand's world famous therapeutic thermal region and trout fishing capital.
The house is located at the east end of the property and nestled amidst magnificent, native, 800 year old forests and valleys. Treetops is a carefully managed game and wildlife habitat allowing our guests exclusive opportunities to view and enjoy a taste of New Zealand's natural flora and fauna. The property offers trout streams, lakes, over 70 kilometres of hiking trails, mountain bike riding and horse riding, so there are plenty of activities for guests to choose from whilst enjoying the tranquillity and splendour of the natural environment.
The house sleeps a maximum of 8 guests per night with a variety of bedding configurations between three bedrooms, along with 2 bathrooms, kitchen facilities and lounge area with television and fireplace, all furnished in a luxurious style. The outside of the house boasts a large deck with BBQ and outdoor setting allowing guests to enjoy the peacefulness of the Treetops Estate. This is a perfect accommodation option for families or groups of couples looking for that flexibility in self catering and something a little bit different.
