Walk Up Pheasant Shoots

Enjoy the thrill of the hunt – shooting over your own gun dog – or one of New Zealand’s top gun dogs! For that ultimate pheasant shooting experience, get a group together for exclusive shooting at Treetops Lodge and Estate.

Day One:

• Arrive at Treetops, unwind and relax!
• Enjoy a walk or mountain bike ride over the Treetops estate – there are over 70kms of walking tracks to explore; or do a few rounds on the sporting clays range.
• Meet your Pheasant Shoot guide in the Treetops Great Room for pre-dinner drinks to discuss your programme for the next two days.
• Enjoy a four course gourmet dinner at the Lodge.

Day Two:

• Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the conservatory at the main lodge.
• Enjoy a country style lunch at the Lodge or take a gourmet picnic hamper out on the Estate.
• Pheasant shooting with a picnic lunch (normal Fish & Game restrictions apply – maximum 5 cock pheasants per day)
• Meet in the Great Room for pre dinner drinks, celebrate the day’s shoot and discuss tactics for tomorrow with your guide.
• Enjoy a gourmet wild game food dinner with great wine and company before retiring to the fireside for a night cap or two.

Day Three:

• Enjoy another leisurely breakfast in the main lodge.
• Meet your guide for your second shoot on a new area of the Estate.
• Enjoy a shoot debrief and light lunch at the lodge with your guide.
• Extend your stay for a further day or depart with great memories and plans for your next pheasant shooting trip to Treetops, New Zealand.
